STORYTELLING OPTIONS
Retell a familiar story (fairy tale, folk tale, etc.).
Recall what happened when ___ in a story form (true).
Make up a story about something (imaginary).
Combine the previous two suggestions (some true and some not true parts).
Take a children’s picture book with a repetitive storyline and dramatize it.
Have a young child dictate a story for an adult to write. This could be true or imaginary, and can use a prompt to direct the nature of the story.
