STORIES
There are stories everywhere you look for them. There is a story in a seed, in a pine cone, in a bird flying overhead or perched on a branch, in a tree throughout the seasons, in the wind, in a drop of water, in a leaf floating down a river or in the river itself, in a flower, in a gopher popping its head up out of the ground, in an ant coming and going, in anything. When I began looking for subjects and themes, I found them all around me with endless possibilities. The story is there to be told. It takes a teller to bring it to life. The keys are using one's senses and feelings and imagination, set by step. It can be very, very short or revealed over time. It is a matter of perspective and view point and intention. It is a frame of mind. It is a very rich and deepening experience. Stories are meaningful and important to share. In the oral tradition, story telling carries on and builds relationships. I encourage you to tell your stories and pass on stories.
